Wilma passed to the south and east of us yesterday, and while we got some rain in the morning, the wind didn't pick up until the hurricane moved offshore and the sun came out. The weather channel said that the winds were gusting up to 27 mph but I do believe it was higher where I was. It's still a bit windy today, and very cool. Feels almost like winter. Winter in Florida, what an idea!

Still no luck on the job search, although I'm on the internet daily, diligently searching. Seems like that's all I do anymore. If it's a job I think I might fit into, it's located in some place like Green Cove Springs or St. Augustine -- way too far to drive every day. I did apply on-line for the post office and I'm supposed to be receiving an exam in the mail.

Had to claim my weeks again today for the unemployment check. Car insurance payment is due the 6th of November. Should do some laundry, but not really in the mood right now. Maybe I'll go find a kitty and cuddle for a few minutes. Warm me up. Then have a bowl of soup. Definitely soup weather today.

I love those words: "no spelling errors found" when I hit the spell check. I am so good.
